Sensational Steps proudly specializes in pediatric occupational, speech & language, and feeding therapy.
Our main Ferrysburg clinic has a beautiful sensory gym, as well as three additional treatment rooms to meet the needs of all of our speech and occupational therapists and pediatric clients.
We opened our second office in Kentwood in September 2023 with a focus on pediatric OT and feeding therapy. Our cozy little home on 44th street offers several sensory-motor areas.
Our practice is unique as we also partner with several locals schools to provide free screenings, as well as weekly speech and occupational services. We provide teletherapy for the entire state of Michigan.

Flexible
Sensational Steps offers various in-person and teletherapy services. We have clinic locations in Spring Lake and Grand Rapids. We can also see your child in the convenience of your own home via teletherapy (available to the entire state of Michigan). SST also partners with several private daycares and schools to provide services during the school day.

Kaylie Stearns, OTR/L and owner has a very unique set of skills and certifications including Sensory Integration and DIRFloortime. These child-led and family-centered approaches are at the heart of Sensational Steps. Our providers have many other areas of specialization that allow us to offer unmatched pediatric therapy services.

At Sensational Steps Therapy, we utilize a strong play-based approach and our treatments are individualized for each child's unique abilities, needs, and interests. We are trauma-informed and neurodiversity affirming. We embrace a team approach, placing a heavy focus on supporting and collaborating with caregivers, teachers, and other providers.
